Report
Government College, Badli has an Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) established to encourage innovation and startup culture among students. However, it has been observed that the Cell is not fully functional and lacks regular activities, mentorship, and collaboration with external agencies. As a result, students are unable to gain adequate exposure to entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup opportunities.
Recommendation
To make the Entrepreneurship Cell effective, the following steps are recommended:
-
Organize regular workshops, seminars, and mentorship sessions.
-
Collaborate with MSME, Startup India, Atal Innovation Mission, and local industries.
-
Establish incubation support and funding guidance for student startups.
-
Encourage student-led initiatives, business plan competitions, and innovation projects.
Strengthening the E-Cell will help students develop entrepreneurial skills, leadership qualities, and self-reliance, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
