The college was established in
2000 as a state government degree college to serve the educational needs of the rural and semi‑urban population in and around Badli area.

Year of Establishment: The college was established in 2000.
Local Initiative: The idea for the college came largely from the people of Badli village. They donated the land for the college. The village Panchayat cooperated, and villagers helped in constructing the initial building.

Role of a Politician: The college is in the native village of a senior minister, Chaudhary Dheerpal , which helped in getting governmental support.
