Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee

To provide a fair, transparent and student-friendly mechanism for addressing grievances, the Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee has been constituted as per UGC norms. The committee ensures that issues related to academics, administration, facilities, and student welfare are resolved promptly and effectively.
Objectives:
To uphold the dignity of the college by promoting cordial relationships among students, faculty, and administration.
To ensure a responsive and accountable system for redressal of student grievances.
To encourage students to express concerns without fear of being victimized.
To create a healthy academic environment by resolving issues amicably.

Two faculty representatives
One non-teaching staff representative
Two student representatives (Male & Female)
Coordinator of Internal Complaints Committee (for gender-related issues)
Functions of the Committee:
Receive and address written complaints from students regarding academic or administrative matters.
Conduct fair inquiry into grievances and recommend appropriate solutions.
Forward unresolved cases to higher authorities if required.
Maintain confidentiality and impartiality during proceedings.
Submit an annual report of grievances handled and solutions implemented.
How Students Can Approach the Committee:
Submit grievance in writing to the Convener/Drop grievance in suggestion box/Send email to official grievance cell ID.
Attend hearing if called by the committee for clarification.
Receive written communication about action taken within a reasonable timeframe.
